Kirwan Surgical Introduces New Autoclavable Instrument Cases
New autoclavable case helps maximize the life of  forceps and pencils

Marshfield, MA – April 18, 2002 – Kirwan Surgical Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of electrosurgical instruments, recently introduced a product that ensures instruments are securely held during autoclaving.

The new Autoclavable Instrument Case helps maximize the life of reusable forceps and pencils. Instruments snap into the autoclavable case, ensuring that the instruments are securely held during autoclaving and thus reducing potential handling mishaps.

Kirwan’s new Autoclavable Instrument Case comes standard with all reusable bipolar pencils and reusable 4” TPR bipolar forceps.

Kirwan Reusable Bipolar Pencils

All Kirwan reusable bipolar pencils are made to order. They are available in three tubing gauge sizes.  The shafts can be made to any length and the shaft of each pencil can be contoured to approximate any hand position.  All reusable bipolar pencils come standard with a new autoclavable instrument case.

Kirwan TPR Bipolar Forceps

Kirwan’s TPR bipolar forceps are non-stick and available in three different styles.  Those styles include: straight, curved and coaptation.  All TPR bipolar forceps come standard with a new autoclavable instrument case.
