Kirwan Surgical Introduces Progressive 20 Watt Bipolar Electrosurgical Coagulator
Compact, lightweight coagulator in a class of its own
Marshfield, MA – January 30, 2003 – Kirwan Surgical Products is excited to introduce their new AURA™ line which includes the most progressive 20 watt bipolar electrosurgical coagulator on the market.
The compact, lightweight coagulator features adjustable display settings and an adjustable audible tone that is heard during output power activation. The membrane touch-pad controls provide tactile feedback and complement the unit allowing the user to easily adjust settings.
The power settings for the AURA™ 20 watt range from 0-20 watts. The unit is footswitch activated and features an activation light and a standby mode default. The AURA™ 20 watt accepts standard 4mm banana pins.
Standard hospital plugs fit easily into the back of the coagulator. The power supply operates at either 110 volt or 220 volt power sources.
Aside from the many functional features of the AURA™ 20 watt, the unit’s streamlined look also puts it in a class of its own. The unit weighs less than two pounds and has a useful carrying handle. The front panel is angled up approximately 30 degrees for ease of reading the display panel.
