Kirwan Surgical Products Launches Eight Inch Monopolar Suction Coagulator
New longer length allows surgeons more visibility during surgery
Marshfield, MA – August 8, 2002 – Kirwan Surgical Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of electrosurgical instruments, has added an 8” monopolar suction coagulator to their product offerings.
The monopolar suction coagulator, which is used for most tonsillectomy procedures, is malleable for ultimate hand comfort throughout surgery. The longer 8” length also presents the ideal visibility setting for the surgeon. As the surgeon’s hand is further up on the instrument, the line of visibility is increased.
Internally, the suction coagulator employs a duckbill valve that prohibits aspirated fluids from flowing back into the instrument. Another feature is the finger control valve to easily control aspiration with the finger.
