New Disposable Irrigation Bipolar Cord is the Ultimate in Flexibility, Shape and Price
Marshfield, MA – July 22, 2002 – Kirwan Surgical Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of electrosurgical instruments, introduced its new disposable irrigation bipolar cord to resounding success.
Made of clear plastic, the cord is unsurpassed in flexibility. When unpackaged, the cord’s suppleness allows it to uncoil easily and lay flat.
The ergonomic pyramid shape of the tubing adds to its unique design. Also unique, the irrigating tube and bipolar cord are extruded in one piece from a single die, not glued together like competitors. These exclusive features add to the overall integrity of Kirwan’s product.
Additional features include the roller clamp to adjust fluid flow and silicone “O” rings to keep the irrigation channel and wire bipolar cord neatly close together for when non-irrigating forceps are used. The 10-4601 cord fits all standard irrigating machines.
